Swani Corporation has a 140 years old history and heritage of supplying Indian spices to the global community. In year 1864 M/s Surn Singh Lachman Singh began the trade and export of Agro products, spices and medicinal herbs in Amritsar, Punjab. Subsequently in year 1956 Shri Kuldip Singh Swani moved to Bombay (Mumbai) and formed Swani Corporation. The single, most important objective, of our company was to promote quality oriented, processing and trading, of Indian spices the world over.
Indian spices have a rich heritage and a history that goes way back to almost 7000 years when Indian spices was largest contributor to export revenues. At present India commands 32% market share of global spice market and the turnover of over US$ 360 million.
Swani Corporation's core business focus and value evolves around processing and export of best quality spices, foodstuffs, oilseeds, botanicals and medicinal herbs. The company commands over 5% market share of Indian spice exports. The export turnover touched the US$ 10 million mark in the year 2003-2004.
